DreamWorks for Young Kings Inc. is a startup nonprofit operation that was founded on July 7, 2025, by Eddie Hill.  The organization will open for business as soon as the funding necessary to begin operations has been obtained.

Eddie Hill is a licensed electrician and certified technician with hands-on experience across residential, commercial, and construction environments. He balances self-employment with work for an established company, giving him a broad perspective on both independent contracting and structured team operations. Eddie is now stepping into a new role as electrical construction manager, where he oversees projects, coordinates crews, and ensures each job meets safety and quality standards.

B o b b i e  H i l l  Y o u n g

Bobbie Hill Young, serving as Director, is an entrepreneur and community advocate. She owns and operates a homeless shelter dedicated to providing support, stability, and resources for individuals in need. In addition to her work in social services, she runs a small boutique-style retail outlet, blending her passion for helping others with her creative business ventures.

Many young boys are growing up in Louisiana and similar communities without stable male guidance, consistent structure, or safe spaces for social and emotional development. Their difficulties are far too frequently misconstrued as behavioral issues rather than indicators of unfulfilled needs. These boys consequently experience greater rates of academic disengagement, emotional repression, school discipline, and early exposure to harmful influences.

Many are labeled rather than nurtured. Many are forced out of systems designed to protect them rather than being guided. Long-term repercussions
from this pattern include lower educational attainment, involvement with the legal system, and fewer economic opportunities. The issue is a lack of deliberate support during a crucial developmental stage rather than a lack of potential.

DreamWorks for Young Kings focuses on boys between the ages of 13 and 17 who come from unstable environments, foster care placements, single-parent households, and broken homes because they are most likely to be neglected during their formative years. Without the emotional resources or guidance required to deal with trauma, identity confusion, and adult responsibilities in a healthy way, these boys are frequently navigating these situations far too early.

Unfortunately many boys are especially hurt by systemic bias, negative stereotypes, and fewer chances to see positive role models. They are often told to "grow up faster," but they don't get to be kids as much as they should.  

DreamWorks for Young Kings focuses on this group of people on purpose to help them deal with those
pressures. It gives them guidance, affirmation, accountability, and shows them possibilities that many of these young men have never seen before.

Acting now is more important than ever. Young boys are burdened further by the increased family instability, social disconnection, and economic strain that communities are experiencing. Community-based organizations must assist in filling the gaps left by the overstretched social and educational systems. Many
boys who struggle now will face much more difficulties as young adults if early intervention is not provided. 

It's time to step in before bad habits become ingrained. Instead of responding to crises later, DreamWorks for Young Kings can alter outcomes by reaching boys during their adolescent years, when identity, confidence, and direction are still developing. Putting money into these young men now will benefit families, communities, and future generations.
